Working with Integrity: Ethical Considerations in the Workplace
This workshop will explore the interconnectedness of our values, agency values, and professional ethics as we encounter various situations in our everyday practice. Exploring what motivates our decisions and actions as well as what barriers we experience that potentially allow for a hesitation in following through with making the better decision in the moment. We will review some common ethical standards, ways to make decisions, how to support one another in decision making as well as how to debrief and take steps forward.

Meet the instructor
Stacy Meadows
Stacy Meadows has an MSW from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from Spalding University. She completed the Public Child Welfare Certification Program and then worked for the local Department for Community Based Service conducting intake and investigations on allegations of child abuse and neglect. She then spent two years working in Dudley, West Midlands, United Kingdom as a social worker for Children’s Specialist Division Referral and Assessment team working with families in need and child protection cases. For six years, Stacy was a case manager for the YMCA Safe Place Services Street Outreach Program in Louisville, KY. At the National Safe Place Network, she worked with the Family and Youth Services Bureau’s Runaway and Homeless Youth Training and Technical Assistance Center (RHYTTAC) as the Evidence-Based Practice/Outcome Specialist. She was responsible for keeping up with current trends in the field of runaway and homeless youth, evidence-based practices, and research relevant to that population and the agencies that provide services. Stacy provided logistical support for webinars as well as surveys and evaluations for events. During this time, she also completed the CYC Foundations course and is a CYC-A. Stacy joined Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County as a Counselor in March of 2017 where she stayed until joining Adult and Child Health Services as a School Based Therapist in Monroe County in December of 2020. Stacy currently works as Ivy Tech Community College
